2024 ODMA Meet

2024 ODMA Meet – May 17-18 in Roanoke VA

There were lots of familiar faces around at the 71st Old Dominion Meet Association show held in Roanoke on Friday and Saturday, May 17th and 18th. Dire predictions of rain kept attendance down, but though we had some showers during the Friday night event (indoors) at the Virginia Transportation Museum, Saturday dawned sunny and only partly cloudy, with no rain until late that night! Friday night featured an open house at the Virginia Transportation Museum, with live music, various photo ops, and even free temporary tattoos. There were vehicles and equipment on display, with the ‘611’ engine, the largest and heaviest train locomotive ever built! Many thanks to the Roanoke Valley Region AACA for hosting this event!
